Lawrence A. Puritz

Lawrence A. Puritz is a Chico personal injury lawyer who has been serving Northern California since 1978. Over his 40+ year career, he has helped thousands of people injured in car accidents, motorcycle crashes, workplace incidents, and other serious accidents recover the compensation they deserve.

Mr. Puritz began his legal career after earning his degree at California State University, Chico and his Juris Doctor from California Western School of Law in San Diego. Early in his career, he worked for a Chico law firm defending insurance companies in personal injury claims. That experience gave him a unique, behind-the-scenes understanding of how insurers evaluate, delay, and deny legitimate claims.

By 1996, Mr. Puritz chose to put that insider knowledge to work for victims instead of corporations. He founded the Law Offices of Lawrence A. Puritz in Chico, dedicated solely to representing injury victims. Since then, he has used his insight from the insurance world to level the playing field for clients and fight for fair settlements and verdicts.

With decades of experience on both sides of the courtroom, Mr. Puritz combines strategic skill with local roots to provide aggressive, effective representation for people across Northern California.
